The Willink is a successful and oversubscribed school. It has 1224 students on roll including 200 in the Sixth Form, and is situated in a pleasant semi-rural setting south west of Reading. The school received an excellent Ofsted report in June 2018.

We have experience and expertise in Initial Teacher Training and professional development and are a strategic partner to the Teaching School Hub Berkshire. The Willink is the lead school for the Mobius Maths Hub – a national centre for excellence in the teaching and leadership of mathematics education.

Behaviour Support Assistant

We are seeking to employ a Behaviour Support Assistant with experience of supporting vulnerable students to improve standards of behaviour and achievement by the early removal of barriers to learning and providing individualised support and care. You will work with a team of senior and middle leaders to carry out a range of duties including, on-call, managing students in inclusion, learning development, student welfare and administrative tasks. We would welcome applications from a teaching assistant with behavioural experience, individuals without school experience but with a passion for working with vulnerable students or a qualified teacher with behavioural experience looking to move roles or return to teaching.

Inclusion Mentor

We are looking to appoint an Inclusion Mentor to provide care and guidance to vulnerable students, in liaison with the SENDCo and Heads of Learning. Previous knowledge of working with young people and external agencies would be an advantage. Proven skills of negotiation and conflict resolution would assist in your application as you will be dealing with difficult situations. You will be working with an experienced and supportive team.
