The Willink is a successful and oversubscribed school. It has 1030 students on roll including 170 in the Sixth Form, and is situated in a pleasant semi-rural setting south west of Reading. The school was judged to be good with outstanding features by Ofsted in 2014. GCSE results in 2016 placed us in the top 10% of similar schools nationally. In September 2017 The Willink became a Teaching School.

Teacher of Music

Part-time* Start Date: September 2018

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, motivated and inspirational teacher of music. The successful candidate will teach music at Key Stage 3, with the opportunity to teach GCSE and A level depending on experience. Applications are invited from ITT as well as more experienced colleagues. Although the post is teaching part-time* (0.4 FTE) the post can be larger with the addition of a second teaching subject or time as a music technician or study/cover supervisor. As a Teaching School we can offer the successful candidate excellent support and professional development.

Teacher of Mathematics

Full-Time/Part-time (0.8-1.0 FTE)
Start Date: September 2018

We are seeking an inspirational classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge to join our highly successful Mathematics Department (83% GCSE grades 4-9 in 2017). The successful candidate will be expected to teach mathematics throughout the school across the age and ability range. The ability to teach to A Level standard is an advantage.
