The Willink is a successful (P8 +0.4) and oversubscribed school. It has 1150 students on roll including 168 in the Sixth Form, and is situated in a pleasant semi-rural setting South West of Reading. The school received an exceptionally strong Ofsted report in June 2018. The school is a National Teaching School and a National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM).

Teacher of Mathematics

MPR/UPR 0.4 – 0.6FTE, for January 2021

We require a committed colleague with a real passion for the provision of quality and imaginative teaching to join an experienced, supportive and high achieving Mathematics Department (90% of students achieved a grade 4+ and 40% grade 7+ in their Mathematics GCSEs in 2019). We are looking to appoint a Teacher of Mathematics with the opportunity to teach A level. This is a maternity cover until August 2021in the first instance.

Assistant Caretaker

20 hours per week term time only

We are seeking to appoint a well-organised, pro-active and experienced individual to join the school’s site team to ensure school Health and Safety compliance, security and maintenance of the grounds, buildings, vehicles and equipment. The post comes about as the school needs to increase the capacity of the site team as a response to Covid-19. As such the post is a temporary appointment to 31st March 2021 in the first instance.
