A Level Results 2019 - Thursday 15^th August

The Willink School is pleased to announce the following GCE ‘A’ level results. The headline figures are:

• 16 % of grades were A*-A
• 98% of examinations were passed  

Peter Fry (Headteacher, The Willink School) said:

“My congratulations to our many students who achieved so well this year. Partly due to the nature of the cohort, the proportion of students achieving the highest grades A-B was down on recent years, but this does not detract from the considerable achievement of individuals who thoroughly deserve their success. In line with the national trend, this year we had the largest share of students with unconditional offers; we are delighted to report that most of our students have secured the places and the courses that they sought. My thanks to staff not only for their teaching, but also for the outstanding personal advice and guidance provided to students”.
